A new highrise called The Avery is coming to the Transbay District in SOMA, offering 118 brand new luxury residences. It’s a great opportunity to live in a fantastic location near the new Transbay Terminal and central to everything. Located at 420-488 Folsom Street, the sculpted tower was designed by renowned architect Rem Koolhaas and will be an “architectural statement” once it is finished. The one-, two- and three-bedroom residences and penthouses will start on the 33rd floor of the 56-story tower. There will be retail on the ground level. The building sits just two blocks from Salesforce Tower, San Francisco’s tallest building, and the future Transbay Transit Center, the crown jewel of the neighborhood. The Transbay district encompasses 40 acres slated to include more than 6 million square feet of commercial space and 4,400 homes. The Avery homes’ interiors are designed by Clodagh, a new York designer famous throughout the world for her luxury spa, hotel, home products and fashion design. With Clodagh’s trademark of “LIFE-ENHANCING MINIMALISM” the residences will be a unique mix of innovative materials and leading-edge technology, incorporating the principles of Feng Shui. Not to be missed. The sales gallery is expected to be open in June.
